Three lines, in order

Lab

How to fetch and submit this lab

Once: install the tool and connect your account.

curl -fsSL https://gonomicon.com/install.sh | sh
gonomicon login

Each lab: download it, edit the file named in the instructions, then submit.

gonomicon fetch week-1/07-03-three-line-greeting
cd 07-03-three-line-greeting
gonomicon submit

Go installed? gonomicon test runs the visible test on your computer first. Submitting also runs hidden checks on our server.

Goal

Write a program that prints exactly three lines, in this order:

Go is a compiled language.
It is fast, simple, and safe.
Let's build something real.

What counts as correct

The whole program's output — all three lines together — is compared exactly against the text above, including line breaks. Printing them out of order, combining two lines into one, or adding a fourth line all fail the check.

Where to write it

Edit main.go. Call fmt.Println once per line.

Checking your work

go run .
go test ./...

Run it

gonomicon fetch week-1/07-03-three-line-greeting
cd 07-03-three-line-greeting
gonomicon test
gonomicon submit

Hints

  1. Each fmt.Println call ends its own line — call it once per line you need.
  2. Order matters: the lines must print in the sequence given.
